Interactive, Educational Kids Puppet & Science Shows this July
We have two entertaining and educational events on the horizon, July 20th & 27th. One is a super silly and wildly fun puppet show–Tortoise and The Hare, featuring Jungle Jo! The other is an interactive scientific extravaganza–Fire & Ice, by Mad Science!

General admission at the door is only $10 per child ages 3 and up! Space is limited. Special Guest Event admission is included with Summer Camp registration, and we offer flexible summer camp options–from half days drop-ins to full weeks.

Tortoise and The Hare, Jungle Jo
The Tortoise and The Hare is Jungle Jo’s spin on the classic children’s story of the same name, with an educational twist! The titular characters are taking part in a race to the library to win a talking book. Along the way they’ll be encountering obstacles that test their knowledge and book smarts, they will demonstrate the importance of reading in real life situations. Kids will learn why it’s necessary to exercise the mind in addition to the body! Learn more about Jungle Jo in the video above.
Fire & Ice, Mad Science
Fire & Ice – Children explore “magical” chemical potions, the wonders of dry ice, and the dynamics of air pressure. Some of the topics we investigate include:
- The three states of matter
- A gassy taste test
- A super spectacular bubbling potion

Our special guests events are a part of our Summer Camp programs. Summer Camps are held at our Union City and Fremont locations. Special Guest events take place at our Union City location. Camps include flexible scheduling and morning, afternoon or full day options. Plan a day, entire week or several weeks.
