Team Results January 2024
The results are in for Pacific West Gymnasts in January! Congratulations to our dedicated Pac West TOPs athletes and talented teams who achieved incredible results! Read on to celebrate their achievements and be inspired by their hard work and determination.
Pac West TOPs Qualifications
Congrats to Pac West TOPs athletes, Leila Igber, Ema Likio, Janiyah Parker, and Kayden Pratt who ALL qualified to the next phase of TOPs testing from physical abilities testing in the Fall. Good luck to the girls who do Skills Testing for a chance to qualify to National Testing.
Level 7-10 Team Gymnastics
The Level 7-10 Teams competed in Anaheim at the California Grand Invitational January 13. Congrats to the Level 8 Team who took 2nd place Team with ALL team members contributing to the team score! Congrats also to Level 7’s Harper Johnson and Abby Wong who both took 1st place All Around!

Level 8 and 10 Team Gymnastics
The Level 8 and 10 Teams competed at the Rose Gold Classic in Roseville January 27 and both teams brought home Team Awards! The Level 10’s took 3rd, and Level 8’s were 1st place Team!
Kudos to individuals: Audrey Sanger – 2nd on Vault, Bars, Beam, 3rd AA, Juliette Zuverza – 2nd on Bars, 3rd AA, Joy Lee – 2nd on Beam, 3rd on Bars and AA, Ava Bagherinia – 2nd on Vault, 3rd on Floor, Pua Zimmer – 3rd on floor, Ylan Witts – 3rd on Bars.

It’s time to show off your flexibility! Splits require hard work, consistency, and flexibility to achieve. Find an area with some open space, ask a friend or parent to take a picture, and do your best split!

Meet the Coaches: Mia Gonzalez
Mia Gonzalez is one of our most valued coaches, a vital part of our competitive Xcel team. Mia has been a part of the PacWest team her whole life! She began as a talented PacWest gymnast at age 4. By age 6, she was in our JO competitive gymnastics program.
